About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Application Developer in Menlo Park, CA to write reusable, testable, and efficient computer software code. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant software applications. Implement security and data protection. Integrate data storage software solutions like MySQL, CassandraDB, Firebase etc. Accessibility and security compliance. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. Create database schemas that represent and support business processes. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related field of study
• Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Sr. Engineer, IT Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
• Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Java/J2EE Spring SpringBoot WebServices NodeJS HTML5 CSS3 XML Jquery Hibernate DB2 SVN Maven Eclipse Tomcat Jenkins Toad
• Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: Type script Express Kibana and Elastic search Mocha and chai junit testing Redis Swagger Visual Studio Code Bit bucket
