In this position, you’ll own the day-to-day success of a number of different Benefit programs at Justworks, work with our Product and Engineering teams to improve existing systems, and help implement new Benefit offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role (operations, claims, insurance or customer service-related field preferred)
  • Knowledge of Excel or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Process-driven and technologically savvy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience breaking down complex concepts to core details
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • SQL knowledge
  • CLMS certification, or equivalent strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day operations for partners including but not limited to:
  • Oversee short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and life insurance claims utilizing internal systems
  • Provide support for Paid Family Leave claims across multiple states, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution
  • Manage and respond to Customer Service Organization inquiries related to claims
  • Assist in resolution of benefit inquiries/issues within the agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) with external and internal partners
  • Liaise with third party partners to resolve claims-related issues for customers.
  • Assist senior team members in building out internal benefit resources (help articles, training decks, etc.)
  • Develop creative solutions for new issues with assistance from team lead using available resources and systems
  • Work closely with third party partners to resolve claims related extension requests and issues.
  • Partner with our Customer Service Organization, Product Support Specialists, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
