About The Position
Ally Financial Inc. manages a full range of aftermarket vehicle protection products available to consumers, including vehicle service contracts (Ally Premier Protection, Ally Limited Warranty), guaranteed asset protection (GAP) waivers, prepaid maintenance Ally Auto Care/Ally Auto Care +, and our Everyday Protection Products (tire/wheel, dent restore, windshield repair, key fob, theft, and appearance protection), and lease excess wear & tear (SmartLease Protect). The team identifies market needs through strong collaboration with our matrix partners and having an in depth understanding of the competitive marketplace for such products. The Product Analyst will report to the Product Manager, supporting the development of new finance & insurance (F&I) products and be part of a broader team responsible for updating existing F&I products that are sold through various dealer networks. The position will also be responsible for conducting research on competitor F&I products and helping to identify, evaluate and bring to market new F&I product offerings. This position will require collaboration with matrix partners throughout the organization, including Sales, Pricing/Actuarial, IT Systems, Configuration, Operations, Legal / Regulatory, Sales Support, and Project Management. The position will also involve collaboration with our Canadian F&I Products business unit.
