Summary: The Associate Treasury Analyst is responsible for preparing daily cash reports for review by the Treasury Manager. Other responsibilities will include supporting the Treasury Manager with the processing of payments in different currencies, updating debt, interest rate and investment models.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or related discipline
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis and modeling
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Corporate finance, investment banking, Treasury operations experience preferred
  • Experience with midstream energy fundamentals preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance of established cash flow models, analyze historical transaction data to estimate future cash flow
  • Support management in the preparation and coordination of credit facility borrowing activities and schedules
  • Reconcile, analyze and report monthly bank fees and Interest
  • Assist in managing Partnership’s debt portfolio, including revolving credit facility and senior notes. This includes rollovers/renewals, monthly interest accruals, payoffs and quarterly/semi-annual interest payments
  • Assist in the management and execution of intercompany and joint venture financing activities
  • Identify, analyze and implement process improvements, including resolving complex Treasury issues and integrating new products into the current daily process
  • Prepare distribution schedules for the Partnership and joint ventures. Coordinate approvals, borrowing requests, and payment of distributions
  • Assist in the opening of bank accounts, establishing the associated services and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
