About The Position

As an Associate Analyst in Strategic Sales at XPO, you will play a crucial role in identifying new opportunities and understanding customer specifications. You will coordinate with internal teams and customers to consolidate data for new and existing business in planning Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Your responsibilities will include analyzing business insights, creating reports for senior management, and presenting statistical data concerning lost business and new opportunities. You will also support the bid management process and manage pricing agreement renewals, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support leadership decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, etc.
  • Experience creating Requests for Proposal (RFP)
  • Experience analyzing data, creating and making recommendations presentation for senior leaders

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year related experience in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Knowledge of general business practices related to sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement and logistics
  • Able to prioritize work in line with department, territory and company goals
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple individuals or teams to reach a decision or goal

Responsibilities

  • Identify the scope of new opportunities to understand the design and solution that best meets customer specifications
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customers to consolidate data for new and existing business in planning of RFPs
  • Analyze business insights and create business reports for senior and executive management
  • Present executives with reports, statistical data and metrics concerning lost business, new opportunities, onboarding status, etc.
  • Analyze customer bids and process obligatory information in the RFP
  • Support the bid management process and manage the pricing agreement renewal process
  • Review documents to understand and capture specific operational, administrative and proposal requirements
  • Facilitate material preparation for executives on customer proposals
  • Coordinate with internal teams, as needed, to support customer requirements
  • Proactively manage pricing requests from partners and direct sales in all ENGIE Resources service areas
  • Prepare timely and accurate standardized reporting, analysis and communication to support leaders
  • Research and interpret financial and statistical data from a variety of databases for presentation to the sales team
  • Submit customer proposals for evaluation
  • Provide next steps comments for executive leadership showing the status of bid/renewal workflow on a weekly basis
  • Update the expected revenue, as known
