Summary: This position is responsible for identifying, investigating, resolving and developing processes, procedures and associated documentation relative to how identity and access to systems is managed along with addressing privacy, confidentiality and standards administration. Conducts risk remediation and security systems access analysis against policies, and procedures in order to control user access to critical information within the Memorial Health System.

Requirements

  • Associates (Required)
  • One (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for education requirement.
  • in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. May require specialized knowledge in a business line.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts periodic access reviews to validate that users have the appropriate level of access based on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensures that audit findings are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Responds to and resolves access-related incidents and issues.
  • Provides troubleshooting support to end users for access problems, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develops and maintains documentation related to access management policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Provides training to end users and team members on identity and access management best practices.
  • Manages the provisioning and de-provisioning of user access to systems, applications, and data based on established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all access requests are properly authorized and documented.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency of access management workflows.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and implement solutions that enhance data security and accuracy.
  • Designs requirements for how roles and individuals are identified in a system and assigned specific access rights.
  • Manages technical processes for the provisioning and periodic review of access to systems.
