Responsibilities

  • Provide fundamental equity research support for lead analyst.
  • Work with quant team on portfolio construction and management.
  • Generate ideas in small cap growth universe.
  • Participate in a 3-5 year structured program offering extensive training and mentoring, designed to develop future analysts.
  • Conduct company/industry related research projects.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers.
  • Perform extensive financial analysis.
  • Interact with public company CEOs and CFOs both in our offices and on the road.
  • Provide investment insight and impact the investment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience (equity research or banking experience preferred).
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills including previous experience building three-statement models.
  • Familiarity with quant models and coding.
  • Creativity and ability to imagine.

  • Experience on a team that has significantly ramped up a new investment product.
  • Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity.
  • Highly motivated, confident self-starter with ability to work independently and with others.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth thematic research across a broad spectrum of topics.
  • Completion of at least level 1 of the CFA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis.
