Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of work experience which may include completion of at least one internship in a finance-related field or work experience in an analytical role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze and report out on data.
  • Strong and positive communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situations.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.
  • Must be willing and able to travel at least 50%.
  • Must be willing and able to work a hybrid work schedule, in-office 3 days a week.
  • Must be willing and able to work at the Arlington Heights Service Center in Arlington Heights, IL.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field of study; or 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • 1+ year experience in Airport Operation.
  • Hyperion Planning, Oracle Financials experience.

Responsibilities

  • Providing financial support and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation for stations within the Hubs & NOC Business Office.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries.
  • Supporting monthly financial close reports and accrual log preparation.
  • Assisting with financial forecast & projection analysis.
  • Performing accounting reconciliations and maintaining up-to-date financial records.
  • Ensuring invoice & billing accuracy.
  • Conducting audits and ensuring compliance with company regulations and standards.
  • Assisting with resolving action plans.
  • Supporting stations with essential ad-hoc assignments as needed.
  • Analyzing cost trends and resource utilization and developing financial measurements.
  • Preparing monthly financial report for stations and assisting with financial projection and variance analysis.
