You will join our Environment & Health department As our new Entry Level Air Quality Consultant you will be part of the Air & Climate Service Line within Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division. This group consists of like-minded individuals who are passionate about air and climate issues and assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Air & Climate team consults with clients across various industries on a range of topics, including but not limited to emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, and compliance.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a science degree with air quality course work with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
  • Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Database and GIS skills are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Preparing emissions calculations
  • Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control
  • Assisting in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports
  • Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
