About The Position

An entry-level advisory role designed to grow you into a confident, trusted financial advisor. At Savant Wealth Management and our recently acquired firm, Prairieview Partners, we believe financial advice is about more than numbers — it’s about people, relationships, and the futures we help shape. For nearly 40 years, Savant has served as a trusted fiduciary partner to individuals, families, and businesses, while Prairieview has built a proud, community-rooted presence in St. Paul. Together, we are united by a shared mission: to build one million ideal futures for our clients, our team, and the communities we serve. We’re seeking an Associate Advisor — an entry-level advisory professional who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in wealth management. This role is ideal for someone pursuing their CFP® designation, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by mastering the fundamentals of client service, financial planning, and “The Savant Way.” As an Associate Advisor, you’ll focus on developing technical expertise, delivering exceptional client service, and supporting advisory teams while building toward future advisor responsibilities.

  • Ability to obtain the Series 65 license preferably within 3 months and no later than 6 months of hire.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A client-first mindset with a passion for service and continuous learning.
  • Collaborative, professional, and aligned with Savant’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Support Lead and Co-Advisors throughout the client lifecycle, including onboarding, meeting preparation, follow-up, and ongoing service.
  • Participate in client meetings, capturing notes, coordinating next steps, and gradually increasing speaking responsibilities over time.
  • Maintain and update client information, including the Ideal Futures Profile and net worth statements, to support proactive planning.
  • Assist with financial planning software, data input, and preparation of plans and client reports.
  • Complete simple planning cases independently and support more complex cases alongside the Wealth Strategy, Tax, and Wealth Transfer teams.
  • Research financial planning, investment, and tax-related topics on behalf of Advisors and clients.
  • Master Savant’s client experience standards, Ideal Futures Process, and internal best practices.
  • Coordinate workflows and case work with internal specialists to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Complete Savant’s Advisor Training Program, gaining exposure to tax, planning, and wealth transfer disciplines.
  • Build strong technical knowledge of portfolio management, rebalancing, trading, and investment reporting.
  • Develop fluency in Savant’s investment philosophy and begin addressing basic client questions related to portfolios and performance.
