About The Position

The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics is seeking an Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the administration and operational activities of the Athletics ticket operations, ensuring compliance with departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies. The successful candidate will manage ticket office operations, collaborate with various departments, and enhance the customer experience for ticket sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in ticket office operations.

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures related to ticket and game operations.
  • Prepare needs assessments and recommend improvements and strategies for optimization of departmental goals.
  • Manage and maintain ticket software and vendor relationships, ensuring effective fan-facing systems.
  • Build full season and partial plans, single events, and price codes for all athletic events.
  • Fulfill season, group, and individual ticket requests in a timely manner.
  • Oversee all ticket delivery systems, including digital and hard ticket delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations in ticket office operations.
  • Create and implement online ticketing promotions and pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Generate reports on promotions, sales, inventory, and past due balances.
  • Collaborate with Ticket Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Development on reports and database maintenance.
  • Work with the Development Office on donor relations and premium seating.
  • Research customer account issues and oversee ticket printing and online purchases.
  • Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, receipts, and disbursements.
  • Coordinate ticket exchanges, billing, and invoicing with other universities.
  • Develop and maintain customer service programs for the ticket office.
  • Supervise ticket office staff and activities, including hiring and performance evaluations.
