What You'll Be Doing: Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, plan, analyze and prepare shared-use path, trail, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities using AASHTO, DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria Develop 3D Models of shared-use paths, trails, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK, Open Roads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering 0-3 years of experience Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Requirements
