About The Position

The Associate Accounting Manager at Siemens Digital Industries Software will lead a team responsible for governance of general ledger and subledger accounting activities. This role involves providing expert technical accounting support, managing merger and acquisition topics, and driving initiatives to improve and optimize accounting systems and processes. The position requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders and includes the deployment of SAP ERP systems and other finance tools.

Requirements

• Finance/accounting degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in a similar accounting role.
• CPA or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal acumen and executive presence, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex accounting topics and financial results to senior leadership.
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional critical thinking skills.
• Experience in leading and developing high performing teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of general ledger and subledger accounting activities.
