About The Position

The Associate Accounting Analyst is responsible for coordinating and performing various highly complex State Hospitals departmental wide fund reconciliations. Responsible for General Ledger Tasks, including researching and analyzing the SCO journal entries, performing monthly SCO/Agency reconciliation using FI$Cal, following up and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner. Tracking reimbursements, PFA processing, handling special projects and preparing year-end financial statements.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Develop written desk procedures including analysis of State policies and procedures, such as SAM, Government Code, Management Memos, and FI$Cal requirements.
