 Summary This accounting analyst position is responsible for select SAP Master Data duties residing within the Financial Systems and Controls organization. The analyst is responsible for managing workflows and requests for Customer, Project, FI and CO SAP Master Data creation, changes, and maintenance with respect to company processes and procedures. This position is the focal point for data maintenance and requires collaboration with cross functional departments to develop master data business rules and processes that support operational efficiency through the organization.What You'll Do
Coordinate SAP Customer, Project, FI and CO Master Data setup and validations with applicable cross functional departments ensuring data quality and integrity is maintained
Provide clear, concise, and expedient responses to inquiries and informational requests
Execute changes to SAP Master Data (Customer, Project, FI, CO) as requested and approved by the business to create, change, delete, extend, or flag items for deletion, or otherwise
Assist in ongoing and periodic maintenance of master data to ensure data quality and compliance
Design and maintain master data processes and SOPs to ensure data quality and integrity
Assist in testing change requests affecting master data in the development system
Research financial systems and processes to resolve issues and questions
Effectively communicate in individual and group situations at all levels of the organization
Develop effective working relationships through collaboration with cross functional teams
Assist in creating templates to be used for data requests
Work independently and free from daily oversight as well as participate as part of a team
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with subsidiary and affiliate accounting and reporting
Support and help coordinate internal and external audits and information requests
Develop and maintain back-up capabilities by engaging in knowledge sharing and training efforts
Complete other miscellaneous projects and ad hoc assignments
What It Takes To Succeed Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a business or relevant analytical field of study, including, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, or related field.

SAP ERP experience including an understanding of I/O and WBS structures is advantageous
Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office Suite applications
Relevant utility industry experience and knowledge is helpful
Experience Our ideal candidate is at the Associate level:
 
• For a Level 1 (Associate), a minimum of no previous years of experience to two years related experience is required (if no degree, four-six years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling four-six years).Education Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment. 
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
