About The Position

This position will support various Operational accounting positions in the Poultry segments to gain experience in Poultry Plants Accounting.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, or equivalent experience that provides knowledge typically acquired through a four-year degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of related work experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Special Skills: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team. Strong judgment and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with others effectively.
• Supervisory: None
• Travel: 1 plus trips per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for the Berry Street Plant Accounting teams.
• Processing of Purchase to Pay P2P transactions and or payment processing.
• Assist with monthly close process.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Perform tasks related to one or more of the following areas: management and retention of documents.
• Assist with Ad hoc management reports projects as they arise.
• The position will have the potential to interact with Tyson Team Members across the organization
