Energy Transfer is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Interstate Revenue accounting team in Houston Texas. Team Summary Performs accounting related responsibilities for the interstate/intrastate accounting group.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or related field
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Required Skills: Microsoft office products - proficient in Excel.
• Technical Skills: SAP knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compilation of SOX control documentation and development of related procedures
• Monthly submissions of volumetric data to Government agencies
• Record monthly entries for financial statements
• Prepare analysis of natural gas inventories and transportation and storage revenues
• Analysis of operational gas purchases, sales and payments of contract storage agreements and/or operational gas purchased/sold
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Reconciliation of various accounts and be able to prepare and provide variance explanations
• Utilizes skills gained from classes/exposure for AI capabilities.
