About The Position

Our partner is a fast-growing fintech SaaS company building an all-in-one financial platform designed to help modern businesses operate more efficiently. Their product supports high-growth companies and the operators behind them, with a strong emphasis on trust, customer experience, and long-term relationships. The team operates in a high-ownership, collaborative environment and is continuing to invest in building out its post-sales and growth functions. Our partner is hiring an Associate Account Manager to join a newly formed, post-sales growth team. This is an entry-level role focused on supporting existing customers, identifying expansion opportunities, and serving as a trusted point of contact for accounts that do not yet have a dedicated account manager. You’ll work closely with the Growth Account Management team to ensure customers are supported, engaged, and positioned for long-term success. This role offers strong exposure to post-sales strategy and a clear path for advancement, with the opportunity to grow into an Account Manager role within approximately 12 months based on performance.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build trust quickly with customers
  • Comfort engaging with existing clients and handling customer-facing conversations
  • Ability to think clearly and adapt in real time during conversations
  • Demonstrated motivation, ownership, and follow-through in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings
  • Interest in account management, customer success, or post-sales roles in a startup environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; new graduates and candidates graduating soon are encouraged to apply
  • Prior sales or fintech experience is not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a small book of existing customers without dedicated account management coverage
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and act as a reliable, responsive partner
  • Identify and surface expansion and upsell opportunities in collaboration with Account Managers
  • Partner closely with post-sales and go-to-market teams to ensure a strong customer experience
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, including founders and senior stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate notes and updates within internal systems
