About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Account Manager to join our Small Business team. The Associate Account Manger supports Risk Advisors and Account Managers while delivering excellent client service. In this role, responsibilities include handling policy tasks such as certificates, endorsements, invoicing, and claims, and assisting with renewals by preparing applications and coordinating quotes. You’ll also provide service to clients alongside senior team members and support other books of business. This position manages automatic renewals and smaller accounts with revenue between $3,000 and $10,000.

Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • License or Certification Requirements: Actively pursuing industry designation of CISR or equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license
  • Requires a valid Colorado driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
  • Industry Understanding: Knowledge of commercial insurance lines and risk management principles.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity in agency management systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple renewals simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Account & Policy Management: Perform servicing tasks like certificates, endorsements, invoicing, and renewals to keep accounts accurate and clients satisfied.
  • Renewal Process Management: Manage renewals end-to-end, including preparing and organizing data, completing applications (including specialty applications), following up with underwriters for quotes, reviewing quotes, and preparing proposals.
  • Risk & Data Preparation: Assist with exposure analysis, gather loss runs, and organize documents for renewals and audits.
  • Insurance Knowledge & Accuracy: Understand policy terms and carrier requirements, complete applications correctly, and maintain accurate data in systems.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Provide clear, professional support to clients and underwriters, including premium collection and inquiries.
  • Organization & Time Management: Prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while following company procedures.
  • Teamwork & Technical Skills: Collaborate with colleagues and use agency management systems and insurance software confidently.
