Human by nature.Our Fragrance Ingredients Business' (FIB) product portfolio fuses creative technology in the scientific discovery of sustainable fragrance molecules and a century of knowledge in natural ingredients.   As a Sales Account Manager, you will report to the Senior Account Executive, and will manage top and bottom lines for USA & Canada. Using market understanding, and by communicating with partners, you will prepare and implement sales strategies to increase sales and margins.   You will be onsite (when not traveling, to be close to our technical teams) and based at our Fragrance & Beauty office at East Hanover, NJ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry or other scientific fields or related field.
  • 3+ years experience preferably in the Flavor and Fragrance Industry
  • Understanding of the industry and experience in the fragrance and other ingredients market
  • Experience with SAP and Excel
  • Deliver compelling presentations for promoting aroma chemicals and natural ingredients
  • Negotiation skills and prior experience managing customer's RFQ or similar process.
  • Travel up to 15% possible

Responsibilities

  • Grow accounts by meeting sales budget targets for top line growth and profitability.
  • Work with client portfolio including Fragrance and Flavor companies, Beauty Care companies, and our Distributor.
  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities while working in collaboration with team members – Pricing, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, and Global Sales Coordinators and Support.
  • Manage client portfolio business by retaining business, and also identifying opportunities to develop new business and new project pipelines.
  • Demonstrate a high level of client intimacy while working within a complex global structure.
  • Lead regional negotiations and RFQ (Request for Quote) process for your client portfolio, and support global negotiations of RFQ process.
  • Monitor competition activity and provide market insights to globally coordinated accounts and management.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the ingredients market.
  • Represent us and business opportunity at conferences, trade shows, and conventions.
