About The Position

The Associate Account Executive (Distributed Generation/Energy) position at Eversource involves establishing and maintaining customer relationships with commercial, industrial, and municipal customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Zero or more years of related experience in account management, engineering services, or customer service.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and community leaders.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and apply technical and analytical concepts.

  • Experience in energy management or related industries.
  • Familiarity with energy-related products and services offered by Eversource.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships with commercial/industrial and municipal customers.
  • Represent Eversource products and services to acquire customers in new construction and conversions markets.
  • Provide customized solutions for assigned customers to retain and grow revenues.
  • Perform complex analysis of customer's energy management use and needs.
  • Responsible for all sales activities within assigned territories, including direct sales and marketing efforts.
  • Prepare energy consumption comparisons and revenue estimates.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned accounts and community leaders.
  • Organize New Business initiatives and collaborate with various departments to provide solutions.
  • Participate in customer and community organizations and conferences as appropriate.
