About The Position

The Associate Account Executive for Ethicon at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for expanding sales of Ethicon products and converting competitive products while adhering to company policies. This role involves supporting sales-related activities in the designated area and requires training to understand and demonstrate the proper use of products in an operating room setting. The position is designed for individuals looking to grow into an Account Executive role after successful completion of initial duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0 - 2 years of business experience
  • Valid Driver's License issued in the United States
  • Ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography as needed.

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Established business planning and forecasting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred
  • Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel

  • Ability to work in an operating room.

Responsibilities

  • Expand the sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policy.
  • Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities.
  • Train to understand and demonstrate proper use of Ethicon products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting.
  • Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, and ethical manner that leads customers to action.
  • Manage customer product questions and objections consistent with sales training methodology.
  • Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in training courses.
  • Assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in an operating room during case coverage.
  • Comply with standards for safe behavior and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge.
