About The Position

The Associate, Systems Engineer is an intermediate-level role that involves practical knowledge of systems engineering principles. The position requires working under supervision to set objectives, communicate operational processes, and address changes within the job area. The engineer will be responsible for generating various engineering diagrams, conducting trade studies, and supporting digital engineering initiatives, while also interfacing with other engineering disciplines to ensure project coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 1 year of prior related experience
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 1 years of prior related experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Generate functional block diagrams, use-case diagrams, cabling diagrams, etc.
• Generate Engineering Change Orders
• Conduct trade studies
• Generate requirements specifications
• Support digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper coordination of systems aspects of the project
• Plan integration and testing, including generating plans and procedures
• Create and present design review materials
• Verify system interfaces
• Influence others to accept team views or practices
