About The Position

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assoc Stylist Assistant to join our growing Photo Studio team. In this role, you will support lead stylists with sample prep, style-outs, and on-set styling from start-to-finish. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a photo or video studio environment, preferably as a stylist assistant.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals and collaborate across teams.
  • Resourceful, with a problem-solving mindset to address challenges quickly.
  • Comfortable working under pressure, adapting to last-minute changes, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, taking initiative to contribute to efficient workflow.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering positive teamwork and open communication.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required for shoot needs.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is a plus, with the ability to track progress, manage tasks, and collaborate across teams.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Support lead stylists on e-commerce and marketing projects from start to finish, ensuring merchandise is camera-ready.
  • Partner with Studio Merch to proactively track and communicate sample status for each production.
  • Assist stylists in product style-outs and pre-production, troubleshooting any challenges or delays that may arise.
  • Assist talent fittings with prep, dress, and pin wardrobe on talent in alignment with brand fit standards.
  • Iron/steam, stuff/form product, in alignment with product style guides and creative direction.
  • Collaborate on-set (studio and/or location) with talent and crew, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Maintain styling and prop inventory, tools, and staging areas to support studio efficiency.
  • Track and monitor merchandise and props using internal systems and tools.
  • Support the maintenance of studio facilities and assist with organizing special events as needed.
