Responsible for tactical project management of small to large projects from blue sky to close out. Regularly interfaces with creative, technical, engineering and construction disciplines in the delivery of show/ride design and systems throughout the life of the project. Frontline manager is responsible for monitoring budget and ensuring that delivery schedule is met. You will report to Senior or Principal level Project Manager This role is located in Anaheim, California. This is a Project Hire role with no guarantee of permanent placement

Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically about sophisticated issues and problem-solve to resolution
  • Ability to comfortably communicate in presentation, conversation, and written correspondence, to the project team, Senior Management, consultants, and partners
  • Proven leadership qualities, social skills, and collaboration/partnering ability
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience
  • College degree in a Walt Disney Imagineering core subject area such as: Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or advanced business degree.

Responsibilities

  • We assist in leading the entire scope of a small project or scope of work that is self-contained, definable
  • Integrates project information with all parties involved
  • We assist in presentations to executive management on project status
  • Assists in scheduling, estimating, and budgeting within the project scope
  • Independently performs virtual design and construction simulation.
  • Orchestrate work of coordinator, support staff, and/or intern
  • Begins to take responsibility for a full project under the mentorship of a more senior project manager
