The Assoc Network Engineer is responsible for assisting with the stable operation of the Piedmont Healthcare computer network in their assigned facility. This includes, with assistance, installing, maintaining, and documenting all network hardware, software, and communication links to ensure minimal network downtime. The primary focus for this role, also referred to as Network Analyst, will be Local Area Networks (LAN) within the assigned facility. The individual will also assist in the timely and accurate diagnosis, resolution, and documentation of hardware and software network problems, and provide end-user training and support as needed. Timely trouble ticket resolution and documentation are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1 year of IT experience including hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation, and maintenance of network equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting
  • Cisco Certified Network Analyst

Responsibilities
