About The Position

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is actively seeking an Associate Manager of Operations Management. This person will be responsible for managing two or more of the following activities related to operations manufacturing, production planning, material planning, manufacturing engineering, test, quality or shipping/receiving/stores.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience implementing continuous improvement to procedures and processes.
• Experience with planning and establishing operational objectives for a team with some impact on department results.
• Experience with basic supervisory and lean approaches.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a direct labor work force of technicians and operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain consistent shop floor presence - maintain an orderly, disciplined, fair, and positive work environment for all employees.
• Lead team towards common goals - ensure customer satisfaction and meet performance expectations for the department.
• Effectively communicate with direct reports - policies, performance expectations, strategic improvements, etc.
• Effectively engage support functions - day to day issues and strategic improvements.
• Effectively develop work force - recognizing high performers and coaching low performers.
