We are seeking to fill a Quality Engineer our Orange (Culpeper), VA site.
 Our site near Culpeper, VA, in beautiful, rural Orange County (1.5 hours from Washington, DC) is growing!  This site is Aerojet Rocketdyne’s center of excellence for Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion and Energetics development as well as high-complexity production programs.
Essential Functions
This will familiarize the candidate with the manufacturing floor making the connection between design requirements and manufacturing capability. 
The new hire will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company quality practices, manufacturing, and programs. Tasks will vary but may include assisting technical staff in providing adequate methods to meet quality requirements, providing root cause and corrective actions, meeting delivery and performance targets, and supporting engineers in the design and development of products and processes to improve production.

Requirements

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in  Industrial Technology, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or General Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
• Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
