Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? In this role, you will lead F135 maintenance, repair, overhaul, and upgrade (MRO&U) global depot warehousing team of approximately 30 employees. You will be a results-driven leader that can facilitate all aspects of depot materials impacting global supportability. This position has responsibility for and oversight of the global warehousing for a global network of depot facilities and regional unit & base support, management of the Product Support Providers (PSPs), the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) transition, the auditing and monitoring of government property, and unserviceable material warehousing. You will have management oversight of day-to-day operations of warehouse management in support of the global network with material control, depot material needs, base and deployment material needs. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to meet the rigorous interaction with Pratt & Whitney discipline leaders, executives, project managers, the US government, and international customers. The candidate will also require the diplomatic skills to tactfully interact with horizontal and vertical management levels throughout the F135 enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12+ years of experience in supply-chain, business, operations, or technical discipline, Or advanced degree and 10+ years of supply-chain, business, operations, or technical discipline experience.
  • At least 6 years of managerial, leadership and supervisory experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with contracts, statement of works and negotiations recommended.
  • In-depth knowledge of PW/RTX internal supply policies, practices, and standard work is highly desired, as is proficiency in the complete range of SAP spares-related transactions.
  • Strong analytical capability - able to organize, logically analyze and present spares information that may be pulled in from several information systems.
  • A working knowledge of current Department of Defense engine material and logistics support concepts is beneficial.
  • A good working knowledge of international shipping/export compliance is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Technical oversight of the central inventory and serviceable warehouses located in Oklahoma City, Jacksonville, and Cherry Point, and international Multi-Use Warehouses
  • Technical oversight of Unserviceable warehouse located in OKC, support of HFFR management rules, scrap disposition initiatives, and plans leading to repair induction to ensure serviceable material availability.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives leading to higher material supportability as well as cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain a safety culture and safe working environment.
  • Manage the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) transition.
