About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting domestic and international tax planning initiatives within the Tax Organization. This includes performing technical analysis, preparing tax planning presentations, modeling the tax impacts, and supporting the implementation of tax planning initiatives. The role also involves drafting intercompany agreements and working with tax operations on the accounting and reporting implications of these initiatives. A main area of focus will be the strategic relevance of business development structuring and supporting business development transactions. The Assoc. Dir., Tax will serve as a liaison between the Tax Organization and Business Development, Accounting, and Finance. For Business Development, responsibilities include managing tax due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors, reviewing and determining optimal structures for various business development transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and collaborations), advising on tax matters related to integration activities, and supporting the preparation and review of legal documents. For Accounting, the role coordinates on the accounting impacts of M&A and internal tax planning. For Finance, it provides tax support for deal valuations, financial analyses, supply chain financial flows, and Treasury decisions regarding transaction financing and intercompany cash management.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational requirement for the position is a bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 to 8+ years of combined public accounting, law firm and corporate tax experience in mergers and acquisitions, including managing tax due diligence and structuring of acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
  • 5 to 8+ years of combined public accounting, law firm and corporate tax experience in domestic and international tax planning, including Subpart F and GILTI planning.
  • Proven track record of strong relationship building and effective business communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in ASC 740.
  • Experience with Budget Preparation.
  • Strong Business Communications skills.
  • Experience in Business Development.
  • Proficiency in Cash Management.
  • Expertise in Corporate Tax.
  • Experience with Corporate Tax Compliance.
  • Experience with Corporate Tax Consulting.
  • Detail-Oriented approach.

Responsibilities
