GENERAL SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Associate Cloud Engineer is an early-career technologist responsible for supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across CMS Energy’s cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premises environments. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, skill development, and collaborative delivery of basic cloud infrastructure tasks under the supervision of more senior team members. The Associate Cloud Engineer works closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to assist in building, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining environments used to run business-critical applications.
