About The Position

The Associate Business Analyst in Real Estate and Facilities at Exelon is responsible for performing analysis and preparing standard reports to support business operations. This role involves conducting financial and operational analysis, monitoring performance metrics, and providing analytical support to enhance operational effectiveness. The position plays a crucial role in the short-term and long-range business planning processes, ensuring effective utilization of resources and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering AND 0 - 2 years relevant business experience, or 1 - 3 years relevant business experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Basic understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes, and practices in the functional area.
• Basic proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to provide basic analysis and apply managerial accounting concepts.
• Basic analytical skills for project evaluation including economic, financial, risk, and decision analysis.
• Customer driven with good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the short-term and long-range business planning process.
• Conduct basic modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and business case development.
• Develop and provide relevant analytical reporting for effective utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor and coordinate activities to support operational performance management.
• Track, maintain, analyze, and provide information on the operation's business scorecard or KPIs.
• Perform analysis of the operation's cost elements for efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze standard reports.
• Support the development of detailed performance reports for internal and external use.
• Provide analytical and operational support to the business unit.
