About the Assisted Living Supervisor Position In this unique human services position, you will be responsible for the day to day oversight, supervision, and accountability at our Burnsville facility. (28-bed, apartment setting) The Assisted Living Supervisor will support and train staff at that location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Human Services related field preferred) - Licensed Assistant Living Director (LALD) or pursuit of LALD in Minnesota preferred, but not required
  • Supervisory and training experience in assisted living, direct care, and familiarity with MN 144G licensing requirements strongly preferred
  • 3+ years' experience delivering direct care services to people with developmental or intellectual disabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to complete a Department of Human Services Background Study
  • Valid Driver's license and proof of auto insurance

Responsibilities

  • Program Management and Service Coordination: Monitor programs for individuals served to ensure they support the mission and vision of the organization and are compliant with licensing rules and regulations.
  • Person Centered Recovery Planning: Work with all Options Residential, Inc. team members, individual receiving services, the individual's team to develop, maintain, and modify a Person Centered Recovery Plan.
  • Employee Management, Training, and Development: Provide management, accountability, training, development, performance expectations, and support to direct reports on how to meet the needs of the persons supported under current licensing requirements and company policies.
  • Site Management: Monitor and maintain the physical appearance of the work site according to licensing and safety regulations, and organizational standards. Maintain proper communication with supervisors, the maintenance department, and other assigned individuals to ensure that the site is properly maintained.
