About The Position

As an RN, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Edgewater in West Des Moines. As a Assisted Living RN, you will support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. You will assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring nursing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to enhance professional development. You will participate in the creation and execution of individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitor clinical outcomes, and assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives to improve resident care and satisfaction. You will also help manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of nursing resources, and address resident and family concerns, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a compassionate care environment.
