About The Position

Lorien Elkridge is hiring 2 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work every other weekend, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Join our award-winning team and see why we’re more than a nursing home! Requirements

Active and unencumbered Maryland LPN license in good standing
BLS Certification (current and valid)
A kind, patient, and empathetic personality with a commitment to excellent patient care

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with service plans and physician orders
Administer medications and treatments following state regulations and assisted living guidelines
Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the RN, physician, or leadership team
Perform routine nursing procedures (vital signs, wound care, injections, glucose monitoring)
Document care and resident responses accurately in the medical record
Supervise and support CNAs and CMTs as assigned
Assist with resident assessments, care plan updates, and service coordination
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established protocols
Promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life
