Requirements

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing in the State of Florida.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; minimum five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five years of previous Management experience required.
  • Assisted Living/ Memory Care experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and electronically.
  • Must possess thorough organizational skills, as well as an ability to work well with a Team
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test

Nice To Haves

  • Previous CCRC experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical care and nursing services in Assisted Living and Memory Care
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and scheduling for nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with Florida ALF regulations, facility policies, and professional standards
  • Coordinate care with physicians and ensure new orders are implemented
  • Conduct daily rounds of resident and service areas
  • Oversee infection control and accident/incident programs
  • Participate in meetings and an on-call rotation
  • Serve as a clinical resource for staff across all shifts
