About The Position

Piedmont Gardens, a 5-Star HumanGood senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Living (AL) Manager to help lead our Assisted Living program. This role partners closely with the Assisted Living Director and plays a key role on the community leadership team, supporting high-quality care, team development, and resident satisfaction. As the AL Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for a team of approximately 20 Resident Assistants, ensuring compassionate care and consistent service delivery. Position details: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (must be available to support all shifts as needed) $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience Key responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to: Leading the full employee lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management Supporting and implementing resident-centered activities and support programs Partnering with leadership on marketing efforts and engaging with prospective residents and families Conducting regular community rounds to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance Participating in initial and ongoing resident assessments to identify needs and changes in condition Assisting in the development and execution of individualized Resident Services Plans Participating in resident and family meetings to support communication and care alignment What you need to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social sciences, business, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience in healthcare, senior living, or a comparable service-focused environment Proficiency with computers and experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe) Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills A background and a passion for senior living and service excellence What's in it for you? Requirements
