We are looking for a compassionate and creative Life Enrichment Leader to join our Life Enrichment Team, a collaborative group of leaders who work together under the guidance of the Life Enrichment Director. Our facility is faith‑based and open to all, and we are committed to creating meaningful, joy‑filled lives for the seniors we serve. What You’ll Do Plan and lead engaging activities that bring joy and purpose to residents Share your talents through art, music, games, crafts, movement, and storytelling Build genuine relationships that honor individuality and dignity Collaborate with fellow Life Enrichment Leaders, Life Enrichment Coordinator and care staff as a supportive team player Take initiative while contributing to a positive, mission‑driven team environment Who You Are Creative, compassionate, and joy‑focused A self‑starter who also enjoys working as part of a team Comfortable in a faith‑based setting that warmly welcomes all people Passionate about serving seniors Experience in life enrichment or senior care is a plus, but heart and creativity matter most Why This Role Matters You’ll be part of a team dedicated to enriching daily life—creating moments of happiness, connection, and meaning for the seniors we care for. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: The Life Enrichment Leader must meet the following educational and experience requirements: Have a High School diploma or GED Be able to work in close cooperation with the Director of Life Enrichment and team members, accept and utilize constructive criticism, and display initiative to complete activity related tasks and programs. One year related job experience. Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Be able to read newspaper articles and books clearly aloud to a group. Must be able to work independently. Must possess good organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to lead effectively. Must be able to work with residents, staff, team members and guests in a positive and professional manner. Must be willing to flex hours as able if necessary. Must be able to function with grace under pressure. Must be able to project a cheerful and enthusiastic disposition particularly when conducting activities. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Basic Skills Dependability, punctuality, creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, affection, flexibility, and patience. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing (in English) Interpersonal Skills Sensitivity to the needs, interests, and abilities of Residents. Ability to organize, supervise, and direct others; assume and delegate responsibility; accept advice and consultation. Mental Skills Moderately complex problem solving, excellent safety judgment, short and long-term memory. Good organizational and planning skills Sensory Skills Constant use of sight, hearing, and speech for reading, identification, and communications. Intermittent use of touch.
