We're looking for a passionate and organized Lead Server to help us deliver exceptional service to our residents and guests every day. Position Summary The Lead Server oversees daily dining operations, ensuring residents and guests receive outstanding, timely, and courteous service in a welcoming environment. This hands-on leadership role supports the dining team by maintaining service standards, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a positive dining experience for everyone in our community. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality or senior living dining services , excels in team leadership , and takes pride in creating meaningful moments through excellent service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, or senior living dining service required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and train team members.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and customer service abilities.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and passionate about serving others.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the dining team to ensure high-quality, prompt, and professional service at every meal.
  • Supervise and train servers to uphold community standards and service procedures.
  • Oversee pre-service setup and post-service cleanup to ensure the dining room is always ready and presentable.
  • Delegate daily tasks and monitor team performance for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance for all dining team members.
  • Coordinate meal service flow, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Manage resident meal orders and guest transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with the Dining Services Director to implement and maintain task sheets, procedures, and training standards.
  • Support ongoing improvements to tray delivery systems and service consistency.
  • Address and resolve resident or guest concerns promptly with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure resident checks are accurately processed and submitted after each meal.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
