About The Position

The Executive Director at The Addison of Oviedo is responsible for leading the community, overseeing financial, human resource, and operational management. This role ensures the implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care and supervises the provision of all resident services. The Executive Director also plays a key role in recruiting and managing community team members, developing sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college credits or degree preferred.
  • RHA, LNHA, HFA, FL core certification preferred.
  • Must satisfy state experience requirements, including licensure or credentials to run a senior living community.
  • Experience in managing a program or community in senior living preferred.
  • A minimum of two years leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the community leader responsible for financial, human resource, and operations management.
  • Ensure implementation of policies and procedures relating to resident care.
  • Supervise and assist in the provision of all resident services, including coordination with independently contracted health care providers.
  • Oversee recruiting, interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining community team members.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales/marketing plans to achieve occupancy targets.
  • Coordinate maintenance standards of the community and resident units with the Maintenance Director.
  • Manage and direct all activities in accordance with state and federal regulations and community policies.
  • Control income and expenses using annual budget projections.
