About The Position

As the Director of Assisted Living, you’ll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional services within Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This leadership role involves overseeing resident services, staff recruitment and training, regulatory compliance, and program development, all while fostering a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in Assisted Living or Memory Care
  • 2 years of leadership experience
  • Texas Assisted Living Manager Course (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations for senior living communities
  • Sensitivity to the needs of aging adults and passion for the elderly community
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and self-motivation

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Assisted Living Resident Services and ensure quality care aligned with Health Center standards.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training for team members.
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to staff, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Manage service plans, medication management systems, infection control, and safety protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies and community health partners.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs that improve residents’ quality of life.
  • Maintain safe, sanitary facilities and grounds.
  • Actively engage with residents and families to promote satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
