About The Position

The Assisted Living Aide at Westminster Village at Dover is a part-time position focused on providing compassionate care to older adults. The Aide will assist residents with daily living activities, facilitate social activities, and maintain a clean and safe household environment. Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older unless active on the DE Nurse Aide Registry.
• Previous experience working with older adults preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building.
• Provide support, friendship, and kindness to household members.
• Plan and facilitate social activities for residents.
• Assist residents in self-care and daily living activities.
• Respond to resident requests for assistance and call bells.
• Observe residents closely and report changes in needs and conditions.
• Communicate and document services provided to residents.
• Maintain clean spaces in the household, including resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with residents' personal laundry needs.
