This is a dynamic full-time position for an assistant for both our home and business. The ideal applicant helps manage our daily life by handling scheduling, communication, errands, and household operations for our family with domestic tasks (house maintenance, meal prep, shopping, light cleaning daily) to ensure smooth, organized functioning. Key duties include calendar management, booking travel, managing household staff/vendors, running errands, managing bills/budgets, and serving as a gatekeeper for communication, all while maintaining strict confidentiality. Home Responsibilities (Household Management) (10am- 3pm Mon-Thurs & Fri 9am-12pm) Scheduling & Coordination: Managing household staff (cleaners, landscapers, dog boarding), vendors, repairs, and home maintenance. Errands & Shopping: Grocery shopping, dry cleaning, pharmacy pickups, gift purchasing, and managing household inventory/restocking. Household Operations: Overseeing deliveries, managing utility issues, pet care, laundry, meal prep, and household budgets. Event Planning: Organizing parties, dinners, and family events, including venue selection and menu planning. Travel: Planning itineraries, booking flights, accommodations, and managing travel documents. Work Responsibilities (This will be at our business location in Apex and will be from 4:15pm- 8:15 pm Mon-Thurs) Calendar & Time Management: Organizing meetings, appointments, parent communication, scheduling, answer phones, and customer service.. Communication: Screening calls/emails, managing correspondence, drafting communications, and maintaining contact lists. Project Support: Preparing reports, presentations, organizing files, and managing data. Financial Tasks: Handling bills, tracking expenses, and business finances. Gatekeeping: Acting as the primary contact, protecting sensitive information, and upholding the principal's reputation. Key Skills for Success Exceptional organization & time management.
