About The Position

The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Bryant University is a part-time, contract position responsible for assisting with the competitive women's club soccer program. The role involves compliance with all relevant rules and regulations while mentoring student athletes and helping them reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Requirements

• Must be First Aid/CPR certified
• Must have extensive understanding of soccer union rules and strategy
• Must have previous experience playing and/or coaching the sport of soccer

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct responsibility of the Women's Club Soccer Program
• Direct one or more division area(s) (i.e. A/B teams), as assigned
• Assist with scheduling, planning, attending, and implementing all practices and games in a professional and ethical manner
• Communicate effectively and serve as a mentor and coach with student athletes
• Assist other coaches and team members in fundraising efforts and alumnae development
• Serve as point person for some initiatives
• Assist with the design and implementation of the on-campus recruiting strategy for novice players
