Assistant Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
Visionary Brands is a family-owned eCommerce company specializing in aftermarket automotive accessories, with over 20 years in business. Our close-knit team of approximately 20 employees works together to support several well-known automotive brands, including LEDGlow, GlowShift, and MaxTow. We are seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to support our Warehouse Manager and help ensure our daily warehouse operations run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on warehouse environment while also helping coordinate daily operations and workflow. The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing shipping activities, assisting with inventory management, and coordinating third-party fulfillment shipments such as Amazon FBA. Because we are a small team, this position requires someone who is comfortable working alongside the warehouse team with picking, packing, and shipping orders while also helping guide daily operations and maintain efficiency. Some days—especially Mondays, during holidays, or when team members are out—this role will be actively involved in shipping duties.
Requirements
- 3+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience
- Picking & Packing Experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and warehouse software
- Proficiency in Basic Math Skills, including counting & Subtracting Quickly and accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to Meet Physical Demands, Stand for Long Periods of Time, & Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual
Nice To Haves
- Experience with shipping platforms or warehouse inventory systems
- Experience with Amazon FBA or third-party fulfillment operations
- Forklift Experience is a PLUS (in-house forklift training/certification provided)
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating daily warehouse workflow to ensure orders ship accurately and on time
- Help prepare daily task assignments and shipping priorities
- Support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining efficient warehouse operations
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders when needed
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped using cost-effective shipping methods
- Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips
- Assist with unloading and organizing incoming inventory shipments
- Assist with cycle counts and quarterly physical inventory counts
- Run inventory reports related to third-party warehousing platforms such as Amazon FBA
- Print product and shipment labels for third-party warehouse shipments
- Ensure inventory sent to third-party fulfillment centers is shipped accurately and on time
- Utilize shipping and inventory management systems to support warehouse operations
- Track and log productivity related to shipping and third-party fulfillment activities
- Assist in monitoring shipping accuracy and operational efficiency
- Help answer team member questions and assist with daily workflow coordination
- Assist with training new warehouse associates when needed
- Support warehouse operations when the Warehouse Manager is unavailable
