About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient supply chain management and inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of warehouse operations, materials management, and lean principles.

Requirements

• Bilingual, Spanish - Strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field, with a focus on supply chain management.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of distribution center operations and inventory management practices.
• Familiarity with profit loss analysis and operational efficiency metrics.
• Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is preferred.
• Understanding of lean principles and materials management techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
• Analyze profit loss reports and identify areas for improvement in operations management.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline distribution processes.
• Develop and implement lean strategies to minimize waste and enhance productivity.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
