About The Position

The Assistant Wardrobe Center Manager leads the day-to-day operations of the Working Wardrobes Wardrobe Center at OC Workforce Solutions in Brea while supporting inventory management across two wardrobe centers in partnership with the Donation Center. This role ensures seamless client flow, high-quality styling services, strong volunteer engagement, and accurate invoicing for community partner programs. This position blends retail operations, fashion leadership, client service, and earned-revenue management to create welcoming, well-run environments where clients feel confident and supported as they prepare for employment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail, fashion, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
  • Proven ability to lead teams, supervise volunteers, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Valid California Driver’s License with reliable transportation.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Brea Wardrobe Center and all onsite wardrobe events.
  • Ensure programs meet organizational standards, grant requirements, and partner commitments.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule volunteers supporting inventory management and personal styling.
  • Oversee inventory planning across two wardrobe centers, including par levels, stock rotation, and delivery schedules in partnership with the Donation Center.
  • Facilitate weekly client workshops on personal branding and professional styling.
  • Support and directly assist clients during wardrobe appointments as needed.
  • Manage invoicing and reconciliation for community partner wardrobe service contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit agencies, community partners, vendors, and donors.
  • Produce weekly and monthly operational, statistical, and billing reports.
  • Prepare promotional materials and visual displays for partner engagements and special events.
  • Monitor operational efficiency and cost controls to support earned-revenue growth.
