Job Description Ennsuring system resilience through effective service recovery, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents. Perform service recovery for Unix/Linux/Windows systems to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity. Conduct Disaster Recovery (DR) testing in coordination with business and infrastructure teams. Involved in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for critical incidents. Administer and maintain servers (Red Hat, AIX, Solaris, Windows) in production and DR environments. Provide 24x7 on-call support during assigned shifts and respond to severity 1 incidents under pressure. Collaborate with storage teams to troubleshoot SAN and NAS systems issues and incidents. Collaborate with NetBackup team for system backups and recovery. Worked with L1 in monitoring system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Requirements

  • Unix/Linux/Windows Administrator with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise Unix/Linux/Windows environments.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows, Red Hat, AIX, and Solaris systems.
  • Good understanding of enterprise storage solutions (IBM, EMC, Hitachi), NAS/SAN technologies, and NetBackup.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and RCA methodologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders during high-impact incidents and recovery efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Openshift Container Platform (OCP) knowledge is a plus.
