A Typical Day The Assistant Vice President Project Management manages projects that are complex in nature from conception through completion to include scope, time and cost. As the AVP Project Management, you will provide leadership to a project team or teams, to ensure projects are driven through to completion.

  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
  • Coordinate and report on status and stability of multiple projects, progress and outcomes of work efforts
  • Ensure key project objectives, requirements, planning schedules, and cost estimates are established
  • Manage and report on changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management or related field required
  • 7+ years of project management experience in related field and 5+ years managing a staff
  • Expert in the use of project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, enterprise project management applications and templates)
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) is strongly preferred
