Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
  • Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
  • Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
  • Assist in leading a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience for customers.
  • Ensure that customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries.
  • Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
